Violet Goosen, a native of Vancouver, was invited to become a singer in the Vancouver Chamber Choir in 1973. She joined the administration in 1975 as Tour Coordinator and was appointed General Manager in 1988. In addition to managing the Choir’s at home season and organizing the national and international tours (70 in total), she has served on Advisory Committees for the Canada Council for the Arts, has participated in the YWCA’s mentorship program and is currently on the Board of Directors for Pacific Theatre.
